Delete your account
Two ways to permanently remove your AI Catcher account and everything stored with it.
Deletion is permanent
Once deletion completes, your account and scan history cannot be recovered. If you only want to clear past scans, you can delete individual records from History instead.
Method 1 — delete in the app
The fastest route, and the one we recommend:
- 1Open AI Catcher and go to Settings
- 2Tap your profile or account section
- 3Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- 4Confirm your identity, then confirm deletion
Method 2 — email support
If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address on the account:
support@aicatcher.appInclude the email address tied to your account and any detail that helps us confirm it is yours. We will confirm before anything is removed.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile information
- Your full scan history — text, image and video reports
- Saved and favourited results
- App preferences and settings
What may be retained
- Payment and transaction records, where tax or accounting law requires it
- Aggregated, anonymised usage data that can no longer be linked to you
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel your plan in the App Store or Play Store — deleting your account here does not cancel it.
How long it takes
Your account and associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days of a confirmed request. Most requests complete much sooner.
